We are looking for an Access and Attendance Assistant to join our team who ensure the Local Authority meets it statutory responsibilities in relation to children missing education.   
 
You will be passionate about making a positive difference to the lives of children and young people and will have an understanding of the relevant statutory requirements for school attendance and children missing education.
 
You will have good oral and written communication skills, with excellent ICT skills in Microsoft Office as well as an ability to use large databases
 
The role requires you to have good attention to detail, with exemplary accuracy, organisational and time management skills
 
A knowledge of procedures in relation to safeguarding children, an understanding of data protection and confidentiality principles are essential requirements of this post.
