A vacancy has arisen within Business Services for two newly created Senior Co-ordinators based at various locations/teams across County Durham. Vacancies, areas of responsibility and locations are shown in the “Available posts” attachment. Alignments to each vacancy will be determined subject to interview and suitability.
WHAT IS INVOLVED:
The Business Services Co-ordinator will provide first line people management to a business services team to enable the delivery of high quality business support and administrative functions across Durham County Council.
The role requires a strong working knowledge of the activities provided and the processes and systems undertaken by the team(s) and the ability to collaborate across team boundaries is an essential part of the role.
The Business Services Co-ordinator will undertake performance, development and wellbeing activities to support team members and will engage effectively with our customers and colleagues to ensure the provision of an effective Business Services function.

WHAT WILL I NEED:
You should have an NVQ Level 3 qualification or equivalent in a relevant subject and have experience in leading and supervising an administrative team.

HYBRID WORKING:
Durham County Council currently operates a hybrid working policy where a model of 2 days in the workplace and 3 days at home/remote will apply. This model is pro-rated for part time roles and arrangements are at managers discretion, alternatively you can work all of your contracted hours within the workplace if you prefer.
