We wish to appoint an outstanding Cook Supervisor to join our Catering Department providing school food for our Middle, Senior and Sixth Form students at Kings Priory School. The post will include supervision of catering support staff, use of IT, food handling/preparation service and all related catering aspects. The candidate will be a highly committed, motivated and energetic team player who is able to make a full contribution to the provision of excellent school food. Working to the structure of the School Food Plan, food safety, health and safety and allergen legislation to provide school food that is nutritious and appealing. Experience of working and managing staff in a catering environment, safely to a budget is required. The posts will involve day to day line management of staff and food preparation. The ability to communicate/manage well within the team is essential.
The posts will be permanent, 37 hours per week to support school-based function throughout the year. The post holder will work from 7:00am until 3:00pm daily.
