The Governors of Newker Primary School are seeking to appoint a committed, experienced and enthusiastic teacher with senior management experience. 

The successful candidate will work in partnership with the Headteacher and effective Leadership Team. This role is class based. This is an ideal opportunity for a forward-thinking person to join our successful and aspirational Rights Respecting school.

Newker Primary School is a 2 form entry school in Chester-le-Street, County Durham, with a nursery catering for three and four-year-olds.
We are looking for a Deputy Headteacher that will help continue to drive our school vision of “Learning together, working to achieve”, supporting our children to become inquisitive, resilient, respectful, aspirational, happy and healthy learners and ensuring our children and staff are the best they can be.

Applicants will need to provide leadership of a high quality in the academic, pastoral and management fields and be able to show evidence of the successful implementation of change.

The ability to converse at ease with customers and provide advice in accurate spoken English is essential for the post.
