The Governors of this popular Federation seek to appoint a positive, driven, creative and enthusiastic individual, who can inspire, motivate and lead a large Early Years Foundation Stage Team. Please refer to the Job Description for the requirements of this post.
We are looking for:
• A knowledgeable and experienced early years class teacher who will contribute to raising achievement and attainment
• An outstanding leader and teacher with a desire to make learning exciting, memorable and enjoyable.
• An organised and inspirational EYFS teacher and leader, who can motivate both pupils and staff.
• An in-depth knowledge of child development and Early Years pedagogy.
• Willingness to work as part of a team.
• A commitment to the whole life of the schools, and champion the Early Years team as part of this.
Applications are welcome from experienced Early Years teachers and/or existing Foundation Stage Leaders who have a passion for the Early Years. Recent experience within the Early Years Foundation Stage is essential.

Application forms should be accompanied by a supporting letter providing evidence of impact in attainment and progress that has resulted in sustained improvement in pupil achievement and other key indicators.
The ability to converse at ease with customers and provide advice in accurate spoken English is essential for the post.
Applicants must hold a qualification that meets the approved ‘full and relevant’ criteria for Early Years qualifications and inclusion in staffing ratios.

This Federation is currently in the process of converting to an Academy and we hope to join New College Durham Academies Trust in the New Year. On conversion, all staff, including new appointments, will transfer to the Trust on their existing pay, terms and conditions as required under the TUPE regulations.
