An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Service Improvement Assistant to join the Education and Skills Division within Newcastle City Council.

About the role
The successful candidate will be required to provide support to services across the Education Division with a particular focus on providing support to the newly created Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) Team. The service is made up of specialist teachers and support assistants who provide outreach support to schools for primary pupils who need additional, short-term support.
To apply for this role, you will need to be highly organised with the ability to prioritise and manage your own workload, be able to multi-task and deal with changing priorities and deadlines.

This is a hybrid role which will require you to work remotely from home and in the office. You will need access to the internet via wi-fi and will be provided with the IT equipment you’ll need to work from home.
