Salary: Grade 9-10 (dependent on qualifications and experience) SCP 24 - 31 (£33,024 - £39,141) pro-rata
Flexible Contract opportunity - agreed on appointment:
Options of - 30 hours per week – whole time or
37 hours per week term time only

Both options allow for up to 10 days annual leave within school terms

Post is also suitable for hybrid working arrangements

We are seeking to appoint a dynamic, resilient and committed individual as our Trust Finance Officer. As a key member of the Trust, you will take a lead role in our central office team, working closely with the Chief Executive Officer, Trust Business Manager and other central team colleagues to support the current and future activities of the Trust.

Together Learning Partnership currently comprises of two schools, Cleves Cross Primary and Nursery School, Ferryhill and Rosa Street Primary and Nursery School, Spennymoor. As a central member of the Trust you may be required to work across both sites during the working week. The Trust also works with other local authority maintained schools and you may work with staff at these schools too.

The successful applicant will be at minimum, AAT Level 3 qualified, and have experience of school finance and at least a basic knowledge of the Academy Trust Handbook. Experience of working with Iris Financial Services would be an advantage.

The successful applicant will be someone who has:

• Previous experience in a similar role
• Experience of school financial procedures and statutory returns
• The ability to analyse complex data and produce comprehensive reports that meet the differing needs of stakeholders (teachers, governors, parents and others)
• A sound working knowledge of financial software programmes
• An excellent understanding of Microsoft Excel software
• Good organisational, time management and planning skills including the ability to be flexible in order to achieve targets
