We are seeking to appoint a well qualified, enthusiastic and energetic Teacher of Science at Stokesley School and Sixth Form. The department has an outstanding track record of achieving significantly better than national average results. More than that, our team enthusiastically promotes enrichment and engagement to develop a passion for learning and a love of science in our students. The vast majority of our students go on to study at least one science in our Sixth Form, with many of these going on to study science related subjects, including medicine, at many of the top universities around the country.

The ideal candidate will be focused on delivering high quality teaching and learning in Science and have a passion for working with young people. The ability to teach Chemistry and Physics at KS4 and KS5 would be an advantage, but we are looking to appoint the best candidate and are willing to support applicants who are prepared to develop in those areas.

The main focus of the Subject Teacher's role is fostering the learning and progress of the students in their care. It is essential that the successful candidate is able to demonstrate excellent teaching, proactive classroom management, high expectations for all, and positive personal relationships.
