Newcastle is a great City, with a proud history. We never stand still. Our children, young people and families reflect the changing face of our communities, our vibrancy and diversity. We are ambitious and we are committed to making positive change with our children, young people and families doing things bigger and better than we ever have. To deliver these ambitions we need the best people on board.
About Voice and Influence
We want to put children and young people’s voices at the heart of everything we do enabling them to be part of decisions effecting their everyday lives and to influence strategy and services in the City.
To support us with this we are now looking to recruit two Ambassadors for Young People to work on a sessional basis. The Ambassadors will be essential to help us ensure our work reflects what children and young people need and want.
They will be based in the Children, Education and Skills Strategy and Commissioning Unit, and reporting to the Voice and Influence Lead.
We are committed to protecting and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults and expect all staff to share this commitment.
