The Service
The Supported Employment Service assists local people to access employment. We work with people who may need additional and targeted support such as people with learning disabilities and/or autism and young people with an education and health care plan.
The Team
Our FoodWorks Team is a key element of this service. FoodWorks provides a canteen service at Westgate college as well as a venue to provide work experience and training in a real-life work environment.
You will have:
A creative approach to working with those with learning disabilities and/ or autism.
A proactive approach to making a real difference to the lives of people who access the service.
Able to multi-task and stay calm under pressure when dealing with a busy work environment, as well as meeting the demands of customers and the needs of the people in placement.
You will be passionate about empowering individuals to achieve their full potential.
You are an energetic, organised, and a positive team player.
Calm and focussed as well as showing initiative and being creative.
