The team…
As a Service Redesign Placement Student, you will be joining a dynamic team within Group Strategy and Residential Growth, working on impactful service improvement and redesign projects across Housing services. You'll play a key role in supporting projects from start to finish, helping to identify challenges and develop innovative solutions. User experience both internally and externally, with be at the core of your work.
Collaborating with customers, colleagues and stakeholders, you'll help to map out processes, gather and analyse data, and contribute to the development of service enhancements. You'll engage in user research to identify needs and provide insights to drive improvements.
This is an opportunity to bring fresh ideas, think creatively, and gain hands-on experience in service redesign.
About the role….
You will be someone one who is passionate about improving services and driven by curiosity. You will have an eye for detail, an analytical mindset, and a willingness to work with both data and people to uncover problems and design solutions.
You will be studying for a degree related to service design, business, or a similar field and have a basic understanding of user-centred design principles, research methods, and service improvement. You should be organised, adaptable and keen to learn in a hands-on environment.
As a good communicator you will be comfortable working with different Housing services, the broader Council, and our customers.
