Are you passionate about delivering an excellent service to our customers? Do you have good negotiation skills and knowledge and experience of working in a debt collection role, preferably in a Housing environment? Then this role might be for you.  

We are looking for an individual or individuals who are passionate about delivering a quality service to customers.  You will be part of our Income Advice and Collection Team whose focus is on tenancy sustainment and achieving fair outcomes for people in debt.  

You will be part of a small team who collect a variety of housing debts owing to Newcastle City Council.  In this customer-facing role you will work with a number of internal and external stakeholders to ensure debts are collected, and customers are supported.  Although predominantly telephone based you will also carry out home visits to customers.  For more information about the role please see the Job Description and Person Specification documents.  

We have the following permanent opportunities:

1 x 30 hours per week 
1 x 14 hours per week
