The Newcastle Virtual School is seeking to appoint two permanent Educational Aachivement Co-ordiantors to its established team.

This is a key role, ensuring that the education of children in care reaches the highest standards possible and that professionals involved are held to account through the monitoring and quality assurance of personal education plans.

The succesful applicant will have had experience of working in an eduation setting and can demonstrate an understanding of how trauma can impact upon a child's potential. They will be able to work indepentently following a hybrid working model, and must therefore be comfortable with all aspects of IT and leading videos calls.

The ability to be solution focused is essential, as is the awareness of how these solutions form part of a wider strategy when working with a range of servcies and other professionals. This interpersonal approach is fundemental to the Virtual School and is closely supported by electronic record keeping and processes.
