First Class Supply are working with a school based in North Tyneside, who are looking to appoint a full-time Maths Teacher to cover maternity leaver for 1 year.

Duties include:
  • Teaching Maths to key stage 3 & 4
  • Create a positive learning environment that enables students to achieve their potential
  • Plan effectively and prepare lessons to ensure coverage of the curriculum and differentiate those plans to meet the needs of all students
  • Assess, record and report on the development and progress of students and analyse relevant data to promote the highest possible aspirations for students and target expectations and actions to raise students’ achievements
  • Promote and implement policies and procedures that support the ethos of the school
  • Attend staff, department and other school meetings arranges by SLT 
To be successful in this role you must:
  • be an enthusiastic and committed teacher with vision, drive and commitment
  • be able to inspire and motivate
  • be committed to raising achievement and standards
  • hold a relevant teaching qualification and QTS
