Further Information
Excelsior Academy are seeking to appoint a SEND Support Officer.
Excelsior Academy is the first all-through school in Newcastle, offering education to pupils from 3 to 19 years of age.
Our ethos is clear; to be a community school which creates and builds aspiration through high quality care and education. We want all of our learners to flourish, enjoy school and be prepared to progress to exciting and wide-ranging future opportunities.
Excelsior comprises three phases: Primary, Secondary and Sixth Form. We are fortunate to have excellent accommodation and facilities which can cater for the needs of all age groups and needs.
However, a school is not the building but the people. We are equally fortunate to have dedicated and skilful teaching and support staff who work tirelessly to build positive and meaningful relationships with young people, families and the community in order to work together to fulfil our ethos.
We value learning in and out of the classroom, and want to provide young people at Excelsior with enrichment opportunities so that they develop their skills, knowledge and potential. We want to do our very best so that the pupils see themselves as responsible and compassionate global citizens.
