Working alongside an established team, you will provide a range of financial support across both Children’s and Adults Social Care as well as Preventative and Community Based Services (e.g. sports, cultural, and community hubs) including:
  •  Financial guidance, advice and support
  • Supporting budget holders in understanding and monitoring their budget position
  • Setting, monitoring and reporting of budgets
  • Financial evaluation and monitoring of new grants, projects and policies
  • Monitoring of a number of existing grants such as Staying Close, Better Care Fund and Discharge to Assess

The ideal candidate will be at least AAT qualified or equivalent, have recent local authority and/or public sector finance experience, have excellent, proven IT skills and experience of supporting budget holders in managing their budgets.
