Further Information

As part of Middlesbrough Council's commitment to building an ambitious, successful and creative town, we support a diverse annual programme of cultural events which bring colour, light, music, startling imagery, ideas, conversations and, most importantly, people to the town.

As Festival and Events Officer, you will deliver and facilitate a broad range of events including the Council's own productions e.g Orange Pip, and those led by third party organisers e.g Middlesbrough Mela.

Each year, the programme reaches around a quarter of a million people and brings significant benefits to residents, businesses and visitors alike including increased footfall, improved health and wellbeing, more cohesive communities and employment opportunities.

We'd love to hear from you if you are an experienced professional in the delivery of outdoors events/festivals.

You will be a highly organised, team player who is able to plan and deliver events on time and within budget, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for audiences.
