We have an exciting new opportunity for a Panel Administrator to join our dedicated team within Business Services, supporting our Fostering and Adoption service. Temporary for 12 months.
 
The role is to collate agendas, taking accurate and concise minutes, update the system with accurate recommendations following decisions and liaise with staff across services.

Full training will be provided but it is important that you have excellent minute taking and organisational skills.


WHAT IS INVOLVED?

We are a friendly, and welcoming team, based at Seaham.  Your primary base will be Spectrum 8, Seaham.  As part of your role you will travel to other strategic sites to take the notes of panel.

You will co-ordinate meetings including arranging venues, sending invitations, organising agendas, taking minutes and other work associated with the service following regulations.

WHAT WILL I NEED? 
 
BTEC National or NVQ3 Business Administration or equivalent

HYBRID WORKING (if applicable)

Durham County Council currently operates a hybrid working policy where a model of 2 days in the workplace and 3 days at home/remote will apply. This model is pro-rated for part time roles and arrangements are at managers discretion, alternatively you can work all of your contracted hours within the workplace if you prefer.
