Fixed Term Contract until 31.8.25 (with potential for extension)- term time only- 37 hours
The Governors are seeking to appoint a highly motivated, enthusiastic and inspirational Teaching Assistant to join our strong and very supportive team.
We are looking for a practitioner who:
- Relishes the opportunity to work with children with special educational needs
- Is an outstanding practitioner
- Has a good knowledge of strategies to support children with communication difficulties
- Has at least one year’s experience working with children with special educational needs
- Is meticulous in their planning and preparation
- Can imaginatively adapt practice to meet the needs of all children
- Has high expectations of themselves and the children they work with
- Has a commitment to developing a creative curriculum to enthuse and motivate learners
- Is passionate about creating a stimulating learning environment where children can grow and flourish
- Is an excellent team player
- Is able to communicate effectively in a wide range of situations
- Has a good and effective range of behaviour management skills
- Is patient and resilient

The post holder must:

This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and therefore will be subject to a criminal record check from the Disclosure and Barring Service.
