The team…

We are seeking to appoint an Enforcement Officer to work within our Trading Standards team. This rewarding role is focussed on protecting the public who live, work and visit the Borough and ensuring a fair and safe environment for all.



About the role….

                                                                                                               

If you are a skilled, motivated and committed individual who is interested in consumer protection, then this role may be perfect for you. The successful candidate will have experience of conducting criminal investigations for use in court proceedings, have the ability to work under pressure and prioritise a demanding workload, and be able to evidence proven team working and partnership working skills.

You’ll be paid a competitive salary £35,235-£37,938 p.a

You will receive an annual leave entitlement starting at 28 days per year (pro-rata for part time employees) rising to 32, 2 of which may be fixed by the council at any time. You also have the chance to buy up to 10 additional holidays per year.
