Newcastle Bridges School is seeking to appoint an administrative assistant with relevant experience (in a school or similar environment) to join our busy, friendly admin team, to start as soon as possible. The successful applicant will be based at the school’s main site at Kenton, however may be expected to work at any of the school’s sites as required. The post holder will be expected to be able to manage their own workload and respond to the many interruptions of a busy school office. The post holder needs to be committed, flexible and motivated in their work. Training and support will be provided to the successful applicant.

Newcastle Bridges School provides excellent educational opportunities to pupils whose education has been interrupted by mental or physical ill-health or school phobia. We seek to support each pupil’s access to a full-time, broad and balanced education appropriate to their potential and their educational needs and encourage reintegration into mainstream whenever relevant. Newcastle Bridges School was judged by Ofsted to be ‘outstanding’ (May 2022).
