The Directors of Bishop Hogarth Catholic Education Trust and Governors of English Martyrs Catholic School and Sixth Form College are seeking to appoint an experienced and highly motivated Inclusion/Family Support Officer with firm but empathetic traits to work with and support vulnerable and hard to engage students and their families.
The school is looking for candidates who can :
·Develop comprehensive and robust mechanisms of support to vulnerable and hard to engage students and their families;
·Build an inclusive and responsive service to support vulnerable students, providing emotional support and guidance;
·Establish and maintain relationships with hard to reach parents/carers to ensure positive outcomes for children;
·Develop strong and supportive working relationships with teaching staff and the SEND team;
·Build knowledge and understanding of local community, voluntary and statutory resources/services and refer or signpost families to appropriate sources of advice and guidance.
