37 hours per week, Term Time only plus 5 specified days.
One Excellence Multi Academy Trust is a Multi Academy Trust made up of four schools. The Trust was founded in July 2017, and is a mixed Multi Academy Trust. St Mark’s Church of England Primary School are seeking to appoint a committed individual as an Attendance, Safeguarding and Welfare Officer. You will focus on improving pupil attendance, reducing persistent absence, improving punctuality and reducing unauthorised absence. Working with pupils and their families to provide safeguarding and attendance support, including referrals to external agencies where appropriate.
The ideal candidate will support children whose education is at risk and help families to improve their children’s access to learning and enable all children to maximise their educational opportunities, especially those vulnerable groups that may need additional support.
Candidates should have excellent communications skills, be organised and able to remain calm in a challenging or busy environment. Home visits may be required as part of this role so a UK driving licence and a car will be essential.
