Local Academy Councillors at Teesville Academy, which is part of the IRIS Learning Trust, are seeking to appoint an experienced Teaching Assistant to work with our children. The ideal candidate will already have experience as a Teaching Assistant, and have a qualification in teaching and learning to at least NVQ Level 2 or equivalent.

The successful applicants must be outstanding, caring and effective practitioners with high expectations for all children and themselves. A secure knowledge of the Early Years Curriculum is essential, as well as recent experience working with children with complex needs in order to secure good progress for all pupils.

The ideal candidate must have a commitment to their own professional development and the best interests of the academy in mind at all times.
