The Head Teacher, staff, governors and pupils of Bede Community Primary School wish to appoint a hardworking, reliable and enthusiastic site manager to join our friendly, dedicated team.

Have the skills to carry out general repairs and maintenance tasks throughout the school.
Can prioritise work, and manage own workload and deadlines effectively

You will ideally have previous experience of working in a school and the hours of work are covered over a split shift.
You will be responsible for:
Maintaining clean, safe and secure school premises, which includes buildings and grounds
Carrying out handyperson activities, routine maintenance and refurbishment, porterage, and minor repairs
Promoting health and safety around the school
All other aspects of site management, such as supervising external contractors, and site use
Carry out and record regular health and safety checks, including on legionella risk, play equipment, safety equipment etc.
Completing all required statutory paperwork
If successful you will be required to apply for an enhanced Disclosure
This post will require a declaration under the Childcare Disqualification Regulations 2009
