Development Worker, 1 year Fixed Term with potential to become permanent, 37 hours per week
The role will be to empower our team of self- advocates. Be proactive in the design, leadership and delivery of projects to make inclusion a reality for all people with a learning disability and autistic people and their families, including facilitating workshops and training.
We are looking for someone who has:
  • A sound values base and knowledge of people with a learning disability and autisticPeople
  • Interest in current affairs, human rights and the future of social care and healthcareServices
  • Commitment and passion to achieving the best possible outcomes for all
  • A sound understanding of safeguarding of vulnerable adults
  • Strong coaching and mentoring skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Comprehensive IT and technology skills 
A satisfactory DBS check will be required.
