The Public Protection Service is seeking to recruit a qualified and experienced Environmental Health Officer to work as part of a multi-disciplinary service which includes Environmental Health, Environmental Protection, Private Sector Housing and Trading Standards.

The role is based in the Private Sector Housing team and will focus on housing inspections, investigations, and HMO Licencing, while supporting the service to achieve its broader public protection aims.

Applications are invited from candidates with the Degree or Masters in Environmental Health, ideally with at least 2 years’ experience as an Environmental Health Officer working in the private sector housing enforcement.

However, applications from recently qualified candidates will also be welcomed.
