Tees Valley Combined Authority are looking for a Project Support Officer to join the team to support the delivery of the Strategic Transport Plan and Integrated Transport Programme and help us to deliver our £310m City Region Sustainable Transport Settlement programme by 2027 and develop our investment programme for 2027 - 2032. The programme includes active travel schemes, bus improvements, investments in the rail network, electric vehicle charging infrastructure, helping people to access employment, education and training and much more.
We have an exciting opportunity to make a real difference to our communities in Tees Valley by improving our Transport Networks and making it easier for people to access opportunities.
The successful candidate will work within a team of Project Managers to support the successful development and delivery of our portfolio of projects, working closely with the Tees Valley partner local authorities and other local delivery partners / businesses.
We are looking for someone with a strong desire to succeed, who is able to work collaboratively to focus on achieving the required outcomes.
Your excellent communication and influencing skills will enable you to engage with different audiences and build relationships across a wide variety of stakeholders.
You will have experience of working on projects, preferably within a political environment, and be able to use those skills to support our programme of work.
