Further Information
A rare and exciting opportunity has arisen to join one of the country’s leading Fire and Rescue Services.
We are looking for candidates with a keen interest in the innovative use of technology and who have experience supporting Microsoft Windows and Office 365 products on a range of devices.
You will be a key part of our DDaT (Digital, Data and Technology) team on our Digital Transformation journey. The role is based at our Training and Administration Hub in Hartlepool, but will also include travel to Fire Stations across the Cleveland area to support firefighters and the technology on board our fire appliances and other emergency vehicles.
The successful candidate will have a flexible approach, excellent organisation skills, strong communication and interpersonal skills and be a self-starter who is able to work with the minimum of supervision and on their own initiative.
You will work in a modern office environment as part of a dedicated team and have access to the latest hardware and software to maintain our systems. Training and development opportunities will be provided within the role to help the successful candidate.
Joining a first-rate organisation, you will have the job satisfaction of knowing each day that you are contributing to the success of one of the top performing fire and rescue services in the UK, supporting firefighters who work round the clock to protect local communities and save lives.
No two days are the same, one day you could be providing support from the ICT Service Desk and the next you could be at a fire station working on fire appliance computer systems.
We are a caring organisation, promote an environment of inclusivity and learning and welcome people from all walks of life - just as long as you can show commitment to our values such as integrity and teamwork.
Please refer to the role profile document for full details of the requirements.
If you can meet this challenge, we want to hear from you.
