The purpose of County Durham and Darlington LRF is to plan for and respond to any incidents that would require a multi-agency (two or more responder agencies e.g. fire, police, and local authority) response. The overall purpose is to ensure that there is an appropriate level of preparedness, to enable an effective multi-agency response to emergencies which may have a significant impact on the communities of County Durham and Darlington. The LRF comprises of a number of agencies such as emergency services, utility companies, health and local government.

As LRF Administrator with the LRF team you will play an important role in supporting multi-agency planning, training, exercising and response. You will work alongside the LRF team to ensure quality and consistency across all areas. The purpose of the role is to undertake the administration of County Durham and Darlington LRF meetings ensuring timely meeting invites, information sharing, note and minute taking; ensuring the efficient running and provision of secretarial / administrative systems are in place. The role also involves supporting the administration of training and exercising, including arranging training, catering, events and more and maintaining the calendar of events.
