High Tunstall College of Science is seeking to appoint an outstanding Teacher of English for September 2025 or sooner, to ensure all of our young people are able to achieve their potential in the subject.
This post would also be suitable for ECT’s Here at High Tunstall College, the English team is known as the Communications Faculty; we currently deliver AQA English Language/Literature; WJEC Media Studies and Eduqas GCSE Drama. The Communications Faculty is at the heart of the development of High Tunstall College of Science and is instrumental in securing future success.
As a Faculty, we strive to deliver a curriculum that engages and inspires our students with stories from a wide range of cultures, societies and eras. At the same time, we are developing and embedding reading and writing skills and knowledge essential for our pupils to live a happy and successful life. The successful applicant would be joining the team at a very exciting time as we develop our curriculum; plan adventurous new experiences for our pupils and secure their success at both KS3 and GCSE.
