Whitley Bay Mini Golf and Footgolf is a popular facility for both residents and visitors to North Tyneside. Sport Tyneside would like to recruit four Outdoor Leisure Assistants to work as a team at this site in advance of the season opening in March 2025.
Frequent evening and weekend working during term time opening hours is expected. During the summer holidays, the site will be operational 7 days a week, 9-7pm (approx).
Post holders will be responsible for site opening and course set up, serving and welcoming customers, taking payments and providing equipment. Successful candidates will also be responsible for the health and safety of the public whilst ensuring high levels of cleanliness are maintained at all times.
Applicants should have excellent customer service skills, be able to provide a quality and efficient service to our users, be able to work as part of a team and on their own.
Applicants must be able to demonstrate excellent customer care standards and have good written and verbal communication skills.

The post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975, and an Enhanced DBS disclosure will be required.
