Stanley Town Council are seeking to recruit an Environment & Allotment Officer. Be part of a dedicated small team making a positive impact in the community.
Description of Role:
• To carry out and deliver the day-to-day supervision/tasks/responsibilities of the Council’s environment & allotment portfolios, policies and procedures in relation to the service role.
• To contribute to the development of clear policies for the management of Environment & allotments and to introduce and maintain procedures that ensure such policies are adhered to.
• To provide advice and support to the Environment, Allotments & Community Development Manager in all matters relevant to the scope and development of the Environment & allotment service. 2
• To participate with community groups and other local authorities to maximise opportunities for the effective management of Environment and allotment projects & initiatives.
• Ensure that effective working relationships are maintained with external partners, organisations, customers and other stakeholders.
Your main place of work will be The Greenhouse, Greencroft Industrial estate however you will also be required to work from other council locations covered by the remit of Stanley Town Council.
