In September 2024, as part of the reorganisation of schools in the Coquet Partnership, Amble Links became a Primary School. Our first Y6 cohort will stay with us from September 2025. Our recent Ofsted inspection in November 2025 commended us for having outstanding behaviour & attitudes, personal development and early years provision.
We are seeking to appoint an experienced, dynamic, enthusiastic and successful teacher to join our team, initially in the role of Year 5 Class Teacher. The successful candidate will be joining an experienced and dedicated team of staff in our busy, growing school and become involved in all aspects of planning, delivering and assessing an exciting curriculum for our pupils.
The successful candidate will have a proven track record of successful and recent teaching in KS2 and have the ability to support the development of our Upper Key Stage 2 curriculum. The post will also involve the co-ordination of at least one curriculum subject.
You will have excellent communication skills and be able to quickly build positive relationships with all stakeholders. You will have recent training and experience across the primary school age range and the ability to demonstrate this through exemplary classroom practice.
It is an exciting time at Amble Links Primary School as we move forward into the next phase of our development. We currently have 200 children on our role including a nursery and 2-Year-Old Provision. We are situated right on the beautiful Northumberland coastline in the ‘Friendliest Port’ of Amble.
