We are looking for a dedicated and creative Wraparound Care Manager to lead and coordinate a thriving Breakfast and Tea Club at our friendly and welcoming primary school. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys creating a safe, fun, and engaging environment for children at the beginning and end of their school day.
Key Responsibilities
• Plan and deliver engaging activities that cater to a range of interests and age groups
• Ensure a safe and welcoming environment for all children attending the club
• Supervise and support children's play, social interactions, and well-being
• Manage and lead a small team of staff, ensuring high-quality care and play opportunities
• Communicate effectively with parents, school staff, and external agencies as needed
• Maintain health and safety standards and safeguarding procedures at all times
The successful applicant will:
• Have experience working with children in a play, childcare, or school setting
• Be a friendly, enthusiastic, and responsible individual who enjoys working with children
• Have strong organisational skills and the ability to lead a small team
• A commitment to providing a safe and engaging environment

Standard term time only pay is calculated on the basis of the following:
• Number of ‘teaching’ weeks – 38 weeks; plus
• Public (bank) holidays – 1.6 weeks (8 days); plus
• Individual leave entitlement - 5.4 weeks (27 days) or 6.4 weeks (32 days)
Individual leave entitlement is calculated on the length of continuous service. Employees with less than 5 years’ service will receive 27 days annual leave. Employees with more than 5 years’ service will receive 32 days annual leave. For example:
Calculation for employees with less than 5 years’ service:
38 weeks (term time) + 27 days (annual leave) + 8 days (public holidays) = 45 weeks’ pay, to be paid in 12 equal monthly instalments
Calculation for employees with more than 5 years’ service:
38 weeks (term time) + 32 days (annual leave) + 8 days (public holidays) = 46 weeks’ pay, to be paid in 12 equal monthly instalments
The ability to converse at ease in spoken English is essential for the post.
