We are looking to appoint an inspirational and enthusiastic teacher to join our MFL department from September 2025. The successful candidate will be a dedicated teacher who can engage and motivate students; you will be a reflective practitioner with a desire to develop your own skills. You will join a supportive and collaborative team of teachers who are passionate about engaging and inspiring young people in their learning and are committed to raising the achievement of every student.
The successful applicant will be a language graduate in Spanish or French and be able to teach both subjects at key stage 3, GCSE and A level. The post would be suitable for both experienced and ECT teachers. The successful candidate will benefit from a wide range of CPD opportunities, including our expert teacher programme.
Macmillan Academy is situated in Middlesbrough on Teesside and was rated good by Ofsted in the most recent inspection. We have over 1500 students on roll, including 250 in Post 16. Our strong reputation for academic success is matched by our desire to provide a holistic education for every student.
