We have a great opportunity for an experienced and passionate Safeguarding Officer to join us and lead on safeguarding across the academy.
You will provide advice, guidance and support for pupils and staff whilst working with the pastoral teams to plan and implement interventions and support where appropriate. You will also need to keep up to date with your own personal development within the safeguarding sphere so that you are confident and able to deliver safeguarding training to academy staff. The Safeguarding Officer will work closely with the academy’s designated safeguarding lead and safeguarding team, as well as all academy staff, to ensure the effective implementation of safeguarding policies and procedures across the academy.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have significant experience and training in leading safeguarding within an educational setting. Safeguarding management training and experience within social care, targeted youth and wider inclusion would also be desirable.
