Hartlepool Borough Council are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic and motivated registered nurse to work within our 0-19 service, predominantly with our Health Visitors delivering the Health Child Programme and Public Health agenda.

As a Public Health Staff Nurse you will support the day to day role of the Health Visitors delivering a family centred, Public Health approach, working with babies, children, families and carers to improve health and tackle inequalities, promoting the best start for life. 
 
You will work in the community supporting families in their own homes, Family Hubs, community and Education settings. Your role will include delivering health promotion, universal and targeted interventions to individuals and groups as part of the 0-19 Early Help Team. 
 
You will be supported to fulfil your role through induction, training, shadowing and a tailored preceptorship package. 
 
As part of the role there is the options to train as Specialist Community Public Health Nurse in the future. (Conditions apply)
