The Governors of St Oswald’s CofE Aided Primary & Nursery School are looking for a caring and reliable lunchtime supervisor to join our midday supervisory team. 

We are looking for someone who can work as part of a team to ensure our lunchtimes are calm, fun and safe inside the lunch hall and out on the playground. Our children want the successful candidate to fairly implement the school’s behaviour policy and playfully support positive lunchtimes on the school yard. 

Everyone on our midday supervisory team is expected to be able to carry out basic First Aid.

Hours of work: 11.45am-1.15pm 5 days per week in school term times

This position is paid whole time with retainer adjustments applied to periods of school closure. You will not be required to work during the school closure periods however your salary in these periods will be adjusted accordingly in line with the retainer regulations as specified in the National Joint Council (NJC) Green Book agreement.
 
The ability to converse at ease with customers and provide advice in accurate spoken English is essential for the post.
