The Head Teacher and Governors of Thornaby Church of England Primary School are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic teaching assistant.

Thornaby Church of England Primary promotes the highest standards for all of our children. The Head Teacher and Governors wish to appoint a motivated and committed Cleaner to work as part of a team to keep our school clean, safe and ready to receive pupils and adults.  We are looking for a good team player who is able to work well as part of a supportive staff, as well as having an ability to foster positive relationships with other members of the cleaning and site management team.

The successful candidate will:
  • Be a team player who is committed to the aims and ethos of our school.
  • Be punctual and reliable.
  • Clean and tidy across designated areas of the school to a high standard, this will include classrooms, cloak rooms, corridors and toilets.
  • Be able to work under supervision and also use their own initiative.
  • Have high standards ensuring that the school is clean, safe and ready for pupils and adults to learn.
