We are currently looking to recruit a new team member to join our Neighbourhood Delivery team.  The team provide a high-profile presence and are proactive in ensuring estates in North Tyneside are clean, safe and tidy and places where people want to live.

The successful candidate must be highly motivated and enthusiastic with excellent communication and organisation skills.  They must have the ability to work on their own initiative and as part of the team.  Previous experience of working in a customer focused environment and experience in grounds maintenance/street cleansing would be advantageous.

The post will require the job holder to talk to residents to discuss any issues relating to the environment and anti-social behaviour, and raise awareness of schemes and initiatives that residents may benefit from such as estate clean up events and our Helping Hands scheme. 

Training relevant to the job role will be provided.  However, you must be able to carry out walking, lifting and handling on a regular basis.
