We are looking for a passionate and strategic leader to join our Children and Family Wellbeing directorate as a Senior Manager for Corporate Parenting and CWD. This is a unique opportunity to shape and enhance the services that support children in our care and those with care experience, ensuring they receive the best possible outcomes.

In this role, you will:

• Lead and manage teams dedicated to cared for and care experienced children.

• Drive the delivery of Corporate Parenting priorities, improving outcomes and influencing service development.

• Represent the Local Authority at the Corporate Parenting Board and lead the Multi-Agency Looked After Partnership (MALAP) to implement our Corporate Parenting Strategy.

• Oversee permanence planning, ensuring children achieve stability as early as possible.

• Collaborate closely with provider services to influence sufficiency and service provision.

• Ensure the voices of children and young people shape service improvements.

• Maintain oversight of complex risk management cases, ensuring consistent, high-quality practice.

• Manage the delegated budget for staffing and child-related services.

• Utilise performance management and audits to drive service excellence.

• Champion a whole-system approach, working positively with partners to support cared for children and care-experienced young people.

If you're a dynamic, forward-thinking leader committed to making a real difference in children's lives, we’d love to hear from you!
