St Patricks Catholic Primary would like to appoint a cook to join the staff of our hard working, friendly team.
The successful candidate must:
• Ensure the day to day running of the school kitchen is meeting Bishop Chadwick Catholic Education Trust standards.
• To prepare and serve healthy and nutritious meals to the pupils
• To ensure good kitchen practices and cooking methods.
• To organise and liaise with the catering manager
• To maintain a high standard of personal and kitchen hygiene
• To supervise all relevant personnel within the catering operation
• To complete all relevant administration, purchasing and stock control and financial processes in accordance to the trust procedures and standing orders
• To pro-actively work in partnership with all stakeholders to promote healthy eating and sales.

The Diocese of Hexham and Newcastle has a growth plan for Bishop Chadwick Catholic Education Trust to serve South Tyneside, Sunderland and East Durham, with a total of 34 schools in the Trust.
