The Head Teacher and Governors of Washingwell Community Primary School are seeking to appoint a highly motivated, enthusiastic and inspirational Early Years Teacher. This is a permanent post starting September 1st 2025.
We are looking for an exceptional candidate who:
• Is an excellent classroom practitioner with a minimum of 5 years teaching experience, 3 of which are in Early Years.
• Is innovative, creative and imaginative.
• Has a passion for creating an exciting learning environment both indoors and outdoors.
• Has successful, recent experience of planning, teaching and assessing in Early Years, with both Nursery and reception children.
• Works positively with parents and families.
• Is willing to participate in all aspects of school life.
• Has high expectations of children's achievements and behaviour.
• Is flexible and can work collaboratively and successfully within a highly effective team.
