Further Information
Hartlepool is a vibrant and energetic town with growing prospects. As an authority we want to make Hartlepool the best it possibly can be and want dedicated, driven and committed staff to help us achieve that.

As well as a competitive salary, we offer a range of different benefits including; access to a Local Government Pension Scheme; a generous annual leave allowance; access to a range of savings across the UK’s major retailers; Cycle to Work Scheme; an Employee Assistance Programme and Hybrid working and a flexi scheme where applicable.

As the first point of contact for Adult Social Care and the front door to our services, our team provides an accessible and welcoming initial contact service. Whether by phone or in person, we focus on meaningful, strength-based, and solution-focused conversations that empower individuals to make informed choices, improve their outcomes, and reduce isolation by exploring opportunities within their communities.

Working under the principles and values of Community Led Support, we collaborate closely with social care teams, voluntary and community sector (VCS) organisations, mental health services, occupational therapy and more, to ensure individuals receive the right support at the right time. Our role is to provide a supportive and empowering first point of contact, facilitating meaningful conversations that help individuals explore their options. Rather than prescribing solutions, we actively listen, offer guidance, and connect people with the most appropriate services to support their needs. Communication is key to our approach, ensuring every conversation leads to greater independence and well-being.
