We are currently seeking a 25 hour and 18 hour part time High Needs Support Officer to join our highly motivated professionals to join the Resources Team within Middlesbrough Council's SEND Assessment 0-25 Team.

You will provide a range of administrative support, helping to ensure that Middlesbrough's children, families and school settings enjoy a timely and smooth service from the Local Authority.

You will be supporting with the process of high needs funding for pre and post 16 settings, calculating and paying special school and resource provision top ups, preparing and supporting with placement and funding panels, answering queries from settings and partners regarding payments and available support, maintaining meticulous records, producing reports as required and ensuring that deadlines are adhered to.

The successful candidates should be confident and accomplished communicators, have IT skills, a willingness to learn and a strong desire to offer an outstanding service. Experience of working with finance and or education environment would be an advantage but is not essential, however you will need to be able to demonstrate administrative experience and be accustomed to working in a busy environment, under pressure and to tight deadlines. Being able to prioritise and multitask is essential to these roles.
