Working Pattern: Monday–Friday 11:25am – 1:00pm each day (8 hours per week) term time only, plus 5 PD days plus 2 weeks (pro rata)
Annfield Plain Junior School is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed person to supervise children during the lunch time period, to start as soon as possible.
Duties include:
• Supervising children during lunchtimes in school and on the playground
• Clearing up spillages in the lunch hall
• Setting and clearing tables and chairs, wiping down and maintaining general cleanliness of the dining area
• Communicating effectively with pupils, maintain good behaviour according to the school’s behaviour policy
• Performing basic first aid to pupils and recording of such
Applicants should ideally have experience of working with primary school age children; be flexible and willing to undertake training and development, commensurate with the role, as required. This includes annual training in safeguarding. You should be able to work effectively as a team member and have good interpersonal skills to be able to respond to pupils in a polite and helpful manner.
As this role is for just over1 ½ hours per day, Monday - Friday – it is ideally suited to someone who lives locally
