Payroll calculates the equated salary based on weekly hours, how many Term Time + days you work, Bank holidays and how much annual leave you are entitled to e.g. 25 or 30 days. This is then divided by 12 for a monthly salary all year round. However, if someone starts in April, that salary has been based on a full academic years' leave entitlement, number of bank holidays etc, so it must be recalculated based on how much leave there would be left in the leave year, how many bank holidays are left and how many of the INSET days are left.
This is the deduction from the salary. This applies to all support staff on term time contracts in all NCC schools.
