We are pleased to be able to advertise a fixed term post for 12 months, to join our Senior Leadership Team, (under Support Staff terms and conditions.)  
  
Due to a specific area of focus that has been identified, the role will be responsible for supporting SLT in driving up student attendance, which is a key OFSTED action for school. 
  
The role will also encompass leading and supporting Silverdale's team of Link Workers, undertaking a Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) role in partnership with the Headteacher and leading enrichment sessions working directly with our KS3 and 4 students. 

The role is Grade 11 and will be a 52/52 contract, as there may be the requirement to work over school closure periods, supporting our Link Workers and students.   
 
This role has been created with the view to making a direct impact on the key areas of responsibility. The Governors and Headteacher welcome applications from individuals that can show recent experience of working within a setting similar to our school and demonstrate where their actions and experience have had a direct positive impact on pupil attendance, enrichment and outcomes for pupils in a special school setting. 

Silverdale is an educational setting for children aged 3-16 with Social, Emotional and Mental Health difficulties.
