The Northumberland Church of England Academy is a Multi Academy Trust that strives to provide a supportive, diverse and inclusive learning environment for all staff and students.
The Trust currently has an opportunity for an energetic, creative and resilient teacher (1.0fte) to work within a committed team at Castle School starting as soon as possible after Easter.
The learners within Castle School have severe or profound and multiple learning difficulties, including autism and receive their education from a highly dedicated and experienced team of teachers and teaching assistants.

Castle School offers the chance for you to work in a purpose built provision with multi-sensory rooms, a food technology room, an ICT room, a trampoline room for rebound therapy, hydrotherapy pool, sixth form common room and independent living area.
We welcome visits to our school, if you would like to see first-hand our state of the art facilities and the provision we offer.

Castle School offers the chance for you to work in a purpose built provision with access to learning areas that facilitate the individual needs of our children including: water therapy suite, sensory rooms, rebound therapy hall (trampoline), therapy rooms and classrooms which allow the children space to explore, engage in activities and regulate in enabling environments created and resourced to meet their needs.
